Strawberry and Vanilla Cupcakes

Boy, were these a hit! I took them to work and they just disappeared! I got a lot of positive feedback too, so it seems that I’m onto a winner with this recipe. Either that, or my colleagues have joined forces and are subtly trying to encourage me to bring them more baking. It wouldn’t surprise me. 

Strawberry and Cherry Jam

A couple of weeks ago I visited Auckland’s French markets, La Cigale, in Parnell. I hadn’t been before, but it was lovely! So many delicious things… I was drooling. I came home with pastries, a tart and 4 punnets of strawberries. They were a bargain, I couldn’t resist!
